For Tripp Atkinson, roofing has never simply been about replacing shingles or completing projects.

As the Founder and Integrator of ContractingPRO, Tripp has spent more than 17 years helping homeowners make confident decisions about their homes through honest communication, dependable service, and a commitment to doing things the right way — even when it’s harder.

Tripp’s entrepreneurial journey started early while studying business at the University of Memphis, where he launched his first company and discovered a passion for leadership, operations, and building businesses that create lasting impact. Shortly after entering the roofing industry as a Project Manager, he quickly saw both the strengths and shortcomings common throughout the contracting world.

Too often, homeowners were left frustrated by poor communication, pressure-based sales tactics, broken promises, and contractors who disappeared after the job was complete. Like many entrepreneurs, Tripp also learned early in business that long-term success is never built on shortcuts — it’s built on trust, accountability, and consistently doing what’s right for people.

He believed homeowners deserved better.

That belief became the foundation for ContractingPRO:

A Little About Tripp Outside of Work

When he’s not leading the team at ContractingPRO, Tripp enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife, Mallory, whom he has been married to for 13 years. Together, they have three amazing children who keep life full, busy, and rewarding.

As a family, they love being on the water whenever they get the opportunity — whether that’s wakeboarding at the lake, spending time along the coast, or simply making memories outdoors together.

Those moments serve as an important reminder of why Tripp cares so deeply about protecting homes and serving families well. To him, a home is never “just a project.” It’s where life happens.
